Of those 28 publishers, 13 publishers (46%) met or exceeded the average commissions for the top quartile, which ranged from $435,896 to $147,504 per publisher. The average commission paid to 29 publishers in the bottom quartile of all publishers with a single magazine was $46,657. "Commissions" is equal to the total cash received for each magazine minus the costs. There is no assurance, however, that you will do as well. See Item 19 of the FDD for more information.
